Jack Daniel’s Racing
Since 2013, MCS has provided public and media relations services to Brown Forman, leveraging their sponsorship of the Nissan Motorsport V8 Supercar program through its Jack Daniel’s brand.
The task :
The program has involved MCS being a point of contact for all media enquiries, managing media events and launches, providing all photography, developing media stunts, regular video content, artwork and infographics, as well as written copy, including a weekly column on motorsport.com.
In the first year of the program, MCS more than doubled the media value of content published for the brand when compared to 2012.
Client Case Study :
Media & Communication Services devised and implemented a media stunt which put the Jack Daniel’s Racing Nissan Altima on the Calder Park Thunderdome, Australia’s only NASCAR oval.On the day of the stunt this involved a six camera video shoot, and a three camera stills shoot.
The clip has received over 10,000 Youtube views, with many more achieved through the News Limited network, as well as the V8 Supercars website, both of which ran the story as a lead on Sunday.
The stunt also appeared in print in places such as the Sunday Telegraph (Sydney), and was widely distributed throughout the internet and social media platforms.The initial post on the Nissan Motorsport website reached over 92,000 people, with the post receiving over 2,200 likes, comments and shares, and over 10,100 post clicks.
