Australia’s premier Event for rare, exotic, and collectable cars draws on the services and expertise of MCS to maximise exposure and increase brand awareness and in-turn visitor numbers each year.

The task :

Through a planned and strategic approach, MCS delivers the key messaging to a targeted list of media outlets around Australia and overseas, positioning Motorclassica as a must attend Event.

As part of the program, MCS is responsible for day to day media liaison, media release preparation and distribution, preparation of editorial and advertorial content, the media accreditation process, sponsorship and partnership liaison, and all and any onsite media activity.

Client Case Study :

In 2014, the total volume of media coverage MCS achieved for Motorclassica was 249 articles/reports, across 327 media outlets. Print was the leading media type with 127 articles, with great interest shown at a local and metro level for the Show and its exhibits. Motorclassica had a strong online presence with 93 articles and featured heavily on the radio with 37 interviews in total including on several 3AW programs and on the highly regarded Conversation Hour with John Faine. Motorclassica 2014 enjoyed television success and was featured on the Channel Nine 6pm News as well hosting the Channel Ten Weather broadcast with Mike Larkin on the Friday evening. The total coverage received a minimum total cumulative audience/circulation of 684,577,217. Using the advertising value equivalent (AVE) formula, the dollar value of the media coverage received equalled a minimum of $2,645,164.
