MCS provides PR services to the organisers of the Dodo Sydney Family Show to communicate the Show’s key messaging.
The task :
As Sydney’s only free entry Family Show, the Event offers the residents of Sydney and surrounds an affordable and fun day out. MCS targets the local and state wide media outlets with media releases and alerts, while also managing ticket giveaways with select media channels and interview opportunities with the organisers.
Client Case Study :
Each year MCS provides the Dodo Sydney Family Show with a proactive media/PR program targeting Sydney and its surrounds. The activity includes a series of media releases and alerts to communicate key messaging as well as a pitch program to television and radio for interview and footage opportunities. The Show’s strong community and family values resonate and gain interest from the local and metro media. Major outlets such as SMOOTH FM have participated in ticket giveaways, while Channel Seven’s Sunrise covered the Event in 2014 as part of its weekday weather. In 2015, the total media coverage received was worth in excess of $2million when using ASR.
