CEO and President of Automobili Lamborghini visits Australia

In February 2008, CEO and President of Automobili Lamborghini, Mr Stephan Winkelmann visited Australia to officially open the Lamborghini Melbourne and Lamborghini Sydney showrooms.

The lavish cocktail parties were attended by members of the media and high profile personalities.

MCS took advantage of Mr Winkelmann’s visit and organized exclusive one on one interviews with various members of the media and a luncheon attended by 15 of the key Australian motoring journalists. The activities were a huge success and for the January to March quarter, the total volume of media coverage received directly from the interviews and luncheon was 54 articles/ reports, across 32 media outlets, with a total audience/ circulation of 11,433,964.

Publications from the Newslimited Group and ACP were the leading titles amongst the press coverage

The coverage received during this period was equivalent to $890,358.00 worth of advertising space rates. Using the formula that editorial is three times more credible with the reader/ viewer than advertising, increases the dollar value to:  $2,671,074.00
