ZF Appoints MCS
ZF Services Australia has appointed Media & Communication Services (MCS) as its media & public relations consultancy.
ZF’s Australian operation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the global ZF Group, a leading manufacturer of vehicle and marine driveline and chassis technology.
Originally established in Germany in the late 19th Century, ZF started local operations in Australia in 1987, initially to support the fitment of automotive transmissions to locally-made cars.
ZF’s investment in the Australian market quickly grew, and today the local ZF Services operation provides extensive sales and servicing which supports not only ZF transmission and driveline products, but also products from its Sachs, Boge, Lemforder and ZF Parts subsidiary brands.
Account Manager Mark Walker leads the ZF project within the MCS organisation, and will be responsible for the implementation of media and public relations programs, reporting to Product & Marketing Manager Lars Mehlan.
MCS is a professional communications agency whose automotive industry clients include Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV), Suzuki Motorcycles, Continental Tyres, Repco, UD Trucks and professional racing drivers Craig Lowndes, Will Davison, Marcos Ambrose and James Moffat.
