Australian International Motor Show
In 2012, the Australian International Motor Show Joint Venture engaged MCS to provide media and PR services for the Sydney based Show.
The task :
MCS was responsible for all media activities in the lead up to and for the duration of the Show. MCS worked alongside the automotive, mainstream, business and lifestyle media outlets, providing them with continual updates on the newsworthy angles of the Show, providing them with relevant opportunities with the Exhibitors participating and ensuring their attendance.
Over 2500 media articles across, print, radio and television articles appeared in Australia relevant to the Event.
Client Case Study :
MCS managed over 200 members of the Australian media on “Media Day” of the Australian International Motor Show. Each member was critiqued and accredited before taking part in the media walk which included major announcements and world first debuts from major manufacturers and distributors.
The largest ever television contingent attended thanks to a series of media release and alerts (general and tailored) representing: Today Show – Channel 9, Sunrise – Channel 7, Catalyst – ABC, News- Channel 9, News – Channel 7, News – Channel 10, Cyber Shak – Channel 9, Business – ABC, The Crew –SBS, News- Sky, Business- Sky.
As a result, a total audience of over 75 million people was reached, delivering 9.5 million worth of coverage in advertising space rates from August until the end of October 2012
